After, visiting & learning from a close friend (existing, 4Q Power Customer) demonstrating their solar systems performance & sharing their experience working closely with 4Q Power specifically Gary Jones "Owner" from concept to installed witnessing a truly integrated Solar, Storage & Generac Generator system in action.

"We want a custom designed Solar, Storage & Generator system which will provide immediate power for our entire home when grid power is lost for any reason & for as long as needed, to include indefinitely! 

After meeting with the family, Gary arranged an additional onsite visit with their friends to demonstrate & answer all their great questions!   Over the next several days Gary acquired from ONCOR their digital historical 12 months of electric usage (15 minute interval data) and 3D CAD designed their preliminary system.  

Gary tested his design utilizing a suite of the very best industry standard tools including machine learning predictive software he created utilizing the U.S. Governments historical 20+ years of data rich weather patterns for their zip code.  Using the 15 minute interval data, Gary's software modeled hundreds of simulations deriving the exact sizing of solar power, battery capacity sizing, the optimum generator size required to achieve their goal of "Energy Independence".

The solar panels for optimum production should be facing 180° due south @ 25° - 34° tilt.  Absolutely, no shade on the panels from trees and buildings.  East facing solar panels loose 20-30% production and north facing panels loose 70-90% production.

4Q Power exclusively uses bifacial solar panels which produce power on both sides of the panel.  With attention to backside environment, backside production may INCREASE production by as much as 20%.  Placing gravel underneath along with the reflective white metal fence encourages greater harvesting of the sun into real world power for less!

4QPOWER designs & programs the system to greatly reduce generator run-time by turbo charging the batteries.  When the batteries are depleted to 30% SOC (State of Charge) and there is no grid power available, the generator is started and will recharge the batteries to 100% within one or maybe two hours.  

Otherwise, if you just had a typical backup generator it would run 24/7 for as long as there is a power outage!
